Recalls are not good news at the best of time, but when the product/products in question are to do with babies or children, then people tend to become far more concerned. This is the case with the Brother Max Nightlights recall, as there are concerns over their safety.

Reason for the recall – The manufacturer Brother Max has found that there is a potential safety issue with the Carry & Hang Nightlights, which was discovered through an isolated incident where the light actually overheated. While a full investigation is being carried out, the company felt it was prudent to issue a voluntarily recall, and have also advised many retailers to also stop selling them.

We have already seen the likes of Boots, Mothercare and Tesco stop selling them, but for some reason Argos are still selling them.

The affected models are the Brother Max Carry & Hang Nightlight Bear – Model: 70384BL2 with Barcode: 5060164670384 and also the Brother Max Carry & Hang Nightlight Bunny – Model: 70391PK2 with Barcode: 5060164670391.
